Scholarships offered by MSC

It is our goal to make beautician training affordable for every committed student. Our school offers the following scholarships to help make that happen:

President’s Scholarship. If you have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher, you may qualify for this scholarship. It awards eligible students $500 if they apply before January 1 and $250 if they apply before March 31.
Director’s Academic Scholarship. If you wish to qualify for this scholarship, take the Career Profile Assessment test (CPAt). Depending on your score, you may receive an award of up to $800.
Matching Scholarship. This doubles the value of certain scholarships awarded by businesses, civic organizations and other organzations, up to $1,000 per year.
Dream Act Scholarship. Are you an undocumented student and a graduate of a Minnesota high school? You may be eligible for this scholarship, which awards one student per year 50% of his or her total program cost. To apply for this scholarship, fill out the Dream Act scholarship application. To renew this scholarship, fill out the Dream Act renewal application.
A Cut Above Scholarship. A graduate from the Minnesota School of Cosmetology who has fulfilled certain requirements will qualify for the this scholarship award.
