Lynn has been teaching at MSC for over two years. Her favorite class to teach is manicuring. Her experience includes 8 years as a salon employee, 15 years owning her own chair, and 8 years subbing at Century College’s high school program.

Lynn started her career at Great Clips, followed by experience at BJ & Company, Monti Moreno, Jazz Hair Company, European Hair Spa and Making Waves Hair Design Studio. She is always excited about going to work, servicing others and helping them feel good about themselves. Lynn owns a motorcycle with butterflies on the white gas tank and loves riding on warm days with her husband and friends. She practices yoga, gardens and spends time with her family, including 6 grandchildren.

Camille has six years of experience working in a salon as a full manicurist. Her specialties include nail care, manicuring, pedicuring and artificial nails, and as you might guess, her favorite class to teach is manicuring! Camille’s favorite thing about the industry is the variety—no two days are alike.

In addition to being an MSC instructor, Chris still works behind the chair every Friday. Her experience includes working at Powder Puff, Hair Finesse and Great Expectations salons. She owned Your Mane Image Salon on Grand Avenue in St. Paul for over 10 years. Chris enjoys the creativity and flexibility of the beauty industry and making people feel and look great. She teaches “Look Good, Feel Better” classes to cancer patients. Chris loves to watch as the light bulbs turn on as her students learn. Her hobbies include gardening, arranging flowers, cooking, making fairy houses and beading.

Donna has over 30 years of experience in various cosmetology settings, including Regis, Ficocello's and Let’s Face It, as well as owning her own salon. Her favorite subjects to teach are relaxers, weaving and braiding. Donna loves every aspect of the beauty industry—especially interacting with diverse people. She enjoys bike riding and roller skating and does foster care.

Angie has 25-plus years of experience as a stylist behind the chair. She has experience management, sales, cosmetology instruction and school management. She has worked at Barbers Hairstyling for Men and Women (Now Great Clips) Fantastic Sams and Citylooks. Angie likes teaching foundational cutting as well as creative and corrective color techniques. One of her hobbies is to write cosmetology-related lyrics to country or pop songs to share at graduation.

Susan has owned her own salon, Hair Response, since 1989. She has also worked in various positions at Lifestyles Hair Designs, Montgomery Ward and Nexxus. Susan’s favorite subjects to teach are hair cutting, styling and coloring. She loves everything about the industry, and her customers have always been her first priority. To Susan, every day is new and different. She also loves teaching and has enjoyed watching as people in her classes reach that “Ah ha” moment. Susan enjoys sewing, knitting and reading, going to movies, going out to eat and playing cards.

Over the course of 30 years, Robert has had the opportunity to work with some great people who have changed his life. He has worked for Pat Ficocello, who taught him the importance of continuing education and introduced him to platform work. His work has taken him to Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Scotland. He now works and teaches in the Twin Cities. His travels have exposed him to session work for television and print and international design teamwork. He is happy to be taking the next steps in his journey at MSC.

Heidi’s favorite part of the industry is that she is always learning and that her whole job is to make others feel better about themselves. She likes teaching color, foiling and haircutting. Heidi’s experience includes working at North Branch Caryl and Company and Forest Lake Roxy’s Total Image. She interests include fashion, spending time with friends and family and tattoos.

Michelle's passions for education and cosmetology have lead her to cosmetology education. Before coming to MSC, she was a preschool teacher for 10 years, a stylist at The Salon Day Spa in Red Wing, MN, as well as an admissions representative, admissions director, and career/student Services director at Allure School of Cosmetology in Red Wing, MN. She loves watching students grow into professionals! In her free time Michelle enjoys spending time with her three kids, fiance, family, and friends, as well as doing home design, and going to the lake with her "other family" in Hayward, Wisconsin.

Over the past three and a half years, Joshua has used his energy and his positive attitude to work up the ladder in the beauty industry. He enjoys helping people and is always challenging himself to learn new ways to relate to his diverse students. He thrives on finding fun, new things to help students grasp the material. Joshua’s experience includes working behind the chair, as well as managing a salon and a school. He is excited to continue his career here at MSC. You’ll probably recognize Joshua by the smile he always has on his face.

Mandy has worked at various salons throughout her career. At Rocco Altobelli Academy, she specialized in hairstyling and haircutting. Her time at MVP Cuts Barber Shop gave her plenty of experience in men’s clipper cutting and fading. As assistant manager at Great Clips, Mandy helped lead the salon team get selected to participate in “A Day in the Life” Hair Show in Las Vegas, NV. At Ava’s Salon and Spa, she specialized in bridal parties, updos and facials. In addition to teaching at MSC, Mandy currently works at a small full-service salon outside of the Twin Cities.

Mandy loves everything about the beauty industry and is very excited to work for what she believes is a great team of people.
